What is included in the hourly rate?
Your rental includes a Yamaha WaveRunner, fuel, safety gear, and a certified instructor for the full session. NY sales tax is added at checkout.
How much does it cost?
1 Wave Runner is $175/hr plus tax. 2 Wave Runners is $350/hr plus tax. Stripe Tax applies NY 8% sales tax automatically.
What if weather is bad?
We monitor conditions continuously. If riding status goes red before your session, we will contact you with reschedule options.
Do I need experience?
Beginners welcome. Your instructor covers safety briefing and on-water guidance. We match pace to your comfort level.
Where do I meet?
Dock and arrival instructions are in your confirmation email and your ride-reminder email the day before. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
Is there a security deposit? Is it a charge?
It is NOT a charge — no money leaves your account. The day before your ride you will get an email to set up a fully refundable damage hold of $250 (1 ski) or $500 (2 skis). A hold temporarily reserves that amount on your card. As long as the ski comes back in the same condition it left, the hold is released in full, usually within a few days depending on your bank. It simply protects both of us in case of damage.
What if I do not want a hold on my card?
You can choose a non-refundable damage waiver of $49 instead of the refundable hold. The waiver covers minor accidental damage so you can skip the larger hold. You pick whichever option works for you when you get the pre-ride email.
Debit card vs credit card for the hold?
On a credit card, a hold just reserves part of your available credit — you will not feel it. On a debit card, the hold temporarily reduces your actual bank balance until it is released. If that is a concern, use a credit card or choose the $49 waiver instead.
What happens if the ski is damaged?
We take timestamped photos before and after every ride. If there is damage caused during your rental, we charge the repair amount from the hold (never more than the hold amount) and show you the documentation. Normal wear and a clean return means the hold is released in full.
What do I need to bring and sign?
Bring a valid photo ID and swimwear. Before you ride you will sign a quick digital waiver and we verify your ID at the dock. We provide the ski, life vest, fuel, and full safety briefing.
