Terms of Service
Effective September 7, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Jet Life Jet Skis and any rental you book with us. By booking, signing our waiver, or riding, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not book or ride.
Assumption of risk
Operating a personal watercraft (PWC) on open water is inherently dangerous and can result in serious injury or death. You ride at your own risk and assume full responsibility for your safety and that of your passengers. A signed liability waiver is required before every rental, and its terms apply in addition to these Terms.
Eligibility
- You must meet the minimum age and any boating-safety certification required by New York law.
- You must present valid government ID at check-in.
- You may not operate a PWC under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Minors may ride only with the consent and supervision of a responsible adult who accepts these Terms and the waiver on their behalf.
Bookings, payment & charges
- Reservations are confirmed when payment or a deposit is received. Payments are processed securely by our payment processor.
- By booking you authorize us to charge for the rental and for any additional amounts you incur, including late return, fuel/overage, and damage, in accordance with your rental agreement.
- You are responsible for the equipment during your rental and for any loss or damage beyond normal wear.
Cancellations & weather
Cancellation and rescheduling terms are shown at booking. Because we operate on the water, we may cancel or reschedule rides for weather, water, or safety conditions; in that case we will work with you to rebook or refund the affected rental.
Rules of use
- Follow all posted rules, staff instructions, boundaries, and speed and no-wake zones.
- Wear the provided life jacket and safety equipment at all times.
- No reckless operation, wake jumping near others, or unsafe behavior. We may end a rental without refund for unsafe conduct.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jet Life Jet Skis is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a rental is limited to the amount you paid for that rental. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
