Please read before you book. Booking a ride means you agree to these terms. Last updated July 2026.
1. No Refunds
- ›All bookings are final. Payments and deposits are non-refundable once your reservation is confirmed.
- ›Your payment reserves a Yamaha WaveRunner, a certified captain, fuel, and gear specifically for your time slot, so we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind, weather you choose to sit out, or no-shows.
2. Rescheduling & Cancellations
- ›Need a different time? We are happy to reschedule when you give us notice.
- ›Reschedule requests must be made no later than the night before your reservation.
- ›Same-day cancellations are not accepted and are treated as a no-show.
- ›Reservations cannot be rescheduled or changed within 4 hours of your start time.
- ›A reschedule moves your existing booking to a new date. It is not a refund, and reschedules are subject to availability.
3. Weather
- ›Safety comes first. We monitor Hudson River conditions continuously.
- ›If we determine conditions are unsafe and cancel your session, you will be offered a reschedule to another available date. Weather cancellations are made at our discretion.
- ›If you choose not to ride in conditions we have cleared as safe, standard no-refund and rescheduling rules apply.
4. Arrival & No-Shows
- ›Please arrive 10 minutes before your reservation. Your captain will confirm the exact meet point with you before your ride.
- ›Late arrivals cut into your reserved time and cannot be extended, as the next rider is scheduled after you.
- ›Failure to show up for your reservation forfeits your full payment.
5. Security Hold & Damage
- ›Before your ride we place a fully refundable hold on your card ($250 for one ski, $500 for two). This is a hold, not a charge.
- ›The hold is released in full once the watercraft is returned in the same condition. You are responsible for the cost of any damage, loss, or recovery beyond normal use.
6. Safety, Sobriety & Conduct
- ›Riders must be sober. Operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited and grounds for immediate termination with no refund.
- ›All riders must follow their captain’s instructions and safety briefing at all times.
- ›We reserve the right to end a ride early, without refund, for unsafe operation, reckless behavior, or any conduct that puts people or equipment at risk.
7. ID, Age & Waiver
- ›A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in.
- ›A signed liability waiver is required before anyone can ride.
- ›Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and age or supervision requirements are set at the captain’s discretion for safety.
8. Right to Refuse Service
- ›We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for anyone who is intoxicated, unsafe, abusive, or in violation of these policies. No refund is provided in these cases.
